🔐 What data do we collect?
We collect only the data needed to help you learn:
- Your email address – used to track your progress and send certificates
- Your course activity – such as time spent, completed modules, or skipped units
Optional data: If you choose to upload your name, photo, or profile information, this is voluntary and can be changed or deleted anytime in your profile settings.

📊 Why do we collect this data?
Your data helps us:
- Track your learning progress and issue certificates
- Understand how the course is used (e.g. which modules are popular or challenging)
- Report anonymous statistics to improve the course and meet project requirements
✅ We never sell your data or share it with third parties without your permission.
❌ We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g. health or background details).
⏳ How long is your data stored?
We store your data for up to 5 years after the course ends.
This is required for reporting to funders and to support learners who return later.
After this time, all personal data will be anonymised or deleted.
❌ Can you delete your data?
Yes. You have the right to:
- See what data we have
- Ask to correct or delete it
You can make these requests:
- Directly inside the course

Full policy
Welcome to the Back on Track learning space. This course is here to support your journey — whether you’re starting fresh, building confidence, or planning your next step. To make sure it stays safe, fair, and welcoming for everyone, we ask all learners to follow a few simple guidelines.
✅ Respect and behavior
We expect everyone in this course to treat others with respect. That means using kind and thoughtful language, both in messages and in group activities. Everyone here comes from a different background, and we all learn at different speeds. That’s not just okay — it’s normal. There is no place for hate, bullying, or offensive behavior. If you ever see or experience anything that feels wrong, upsetting, or unsafe, please contact the support team.
🔐 Your account
Please use only your own account and keep your login information private. Sharing your account or logging in as someone else breaks the trust of the course community. If you lose access or forget your password, don’t worry — there are ways to reset it or ask for help.
📤 Uploads and communication
During the course, you might upload assignments, a profile picture, or take part in chats or forums. That’s great — just remember to keep your content appropriate. This is a shared learning space. Please don’t upload anything violent, illegal, or sexual. Use respectful, clear language when communicating with trainers or peers, and keep personal messages focused on the course.
📲 Using the Moodle App
If you're using the Moodle mobile app, everything you do there — including uploads, progress, or messages — works the same as on the website. Be extra careful if you’re using a shared device (like a family phone or a computer in a youth centre) to keep your information private.
📝 Feedback and participation
Your feedback is always welcome and helps us improve the course. If you’re asked to fill out a feedback form or share your opinion, that’s completely voluntary. We kindly ask that you avoid sharing personal or sensitive information unless you're sure it’s safe to do so.
⚠️ What happens if rules are broken?
If someone breaks these rules, we’ll try to solve the issue fairly. This might include a warning, limiting access to chats or messages, or — in serious cases — removal from the course. Threats or hate speech may be reported to the proper authorities.
This course is your space to grow. Let’s keep it a place where everyone feels welcome, respected, and encouraged.
